Salesian Carlos María Collazzi, bishop of Mercedes (Uruguay), sent an Easter message to the faithful of the diocese in which he stressed that “we are living a synodal time”, inviting them to a diocesan meeting on 28 May in Ombúes de Lavalle.
The bishop invited them to participate in communion in the current diocesan phase of the Synod: “let us seek together what the Lord is asking of us in order to be present among us in the times he is giving us to live”. He stressed that “the Church is called to grow in communion and participation, to grow in the dimension of proclamation and mission”.
