SPIRITUAL CONVERSATIONS ON PART B OF THE IL
We invite you to have one or more spiritual conversations based on the following questions related to some parts of the IL (cf methodology described on the figure at the end of Part A of the IL)
Communion, mission, participation. Three priority issues for a synodal Church
Section B of this IL, entitled “Communion, mission, participation”[1], articulates in the form of three questions the priorities that emerge most strongly from the continents, thus placing them before the Assembly for discernment. In order to assist the working process of the Synodal Assembly, especially the group work (circuli minores), five worksheets are proposed for each of the three priorities, allowing them to be approached from different perspectives.
- How these three priorities enlighten our own local priorities discerned from the fruits of the local synodal consultation? How we can implement them at our local level?
- How we can draw from those three priorities concrete actions in our local church to continue our own synodal journey ?
- How our own synodal experience can enrich the understanding of those priorities?
Reflecting on those priorities in connection with our local synodal journey, what perspectives, suggestions, questions we would we like to transmit to the members of the synod of our country before they go to the assembly in Rome?
