🌍 TOGETHER – JUNTOS

A group of theological-pastoral networks to promote training and practice programmes on synodality for the Pan-American region: this is the objective of the Pan-American Synodal Ecosystem Project ‘Together’, which will be developed in several languages.

The initiative was presented to Pope Leo XIV by lay theologian Rafael Luciani, director of the Biblical Pastoral Theological Centre (CEBITEPAL) of the Latin American and Caribbean Episcopal Council (CELAM), who was received in private audience on 28 August.

The reflections that will be proposed will address various relevant themes taken from the Final Document of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.

With this initiative, the Latin American and Caribbean Church takes a further step towards achieving global collaboration, especially in the Pan-American context, joining forces to make the third phase of the Synod of Synodality a reality, a way of being and acting within the Church that will reach its culmination in 2028 with the great World Ecclesial Assembly in Rome.

📌 LANGUAGES: English, Español & Portugês

The initiative, promoted by the Latin American and Caribbean Episcopal Council (CELAM–CEBITEPAL), the Latin American Confederation of Religious (CLAR), the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University (JST–SCU), and the Latin American Observatory of Synodality (OLS), will bring together thousands of people worldwide to provide an introduction to the Final Document of the Synod on Synodality and to promote its practical implementation.
