Christophe Wermeille is a lay theologian, married, father of four children, and has served as a pastoral worker in the Diocese of Basel for 25 years. In this testimony, he shares his life as a pastoral theologian—a ministry established at the local level over 50 years ago with the mission of reaching out to people of all ages and accompanying them on their journey in their search for faith.

Today, Christophe shares with a priest the responsibility and leadership of a team of 15 people (pastoral theologians, deacons, catechists, etc.).

This testimony is an example of how the concept of differentiated co-responsibility is put into practice.
