After the meeting in Wels (Austria), the Organising Team of the International Conference Shaping Synodality in Europe has published the Final Report “Synodality in Europe: Experiences from Wels, Ecclesial Obstacles, and Perspectives of Shared Responsibility.”
The Report presents separate analyses of two sources: the reports from the 21 table groups across the five conversation sessions held during the Conference, and the 56 responses to the online questionnaire of the European Synodal Task Force.
The team continue to monitor and evaluate new questionnaire responses. The questionnaire is still available in several language:
Deutsch: https://forms.gle/fVBhTnCQME57WW6S6
English: https://forms.gle/3PiFwCZtpRRh1ivYA
Français: https://forms.gle/oCU4rUUXixuv9xTJ9
Italiano: https://forms.gle/1T5WhUpAymhNiaXg8
The Final Report is available below in four languages. It begins with an executive summary which was presented to the Presidents of the European Bishops’ Conferences. It is followed by the full report itself including all evaluations and analyses.
The report has been reviewed by the European Synodal Task Force of the CCEE; however, it does not constitute an official statement of the CCEE. Responses to the questionnaire are assigned only to five regions, while the table reports are presented anonymously. The proposals contained in the report are neither resolutions of the symposium nor commitments by existing institutions. They are intended as a contribution to the ongoing process of discernment on the path toward the Ecclesial Assembly of 2028. Artificial intelligence was used as a supportive tool in the design and translation process.
