A training session on ‘conversation in the Spirit’ – the method used in the synodal assemblies of 2023–2024 – took place on 14–15 April 2026 in the Diocese of Mindelo (Cape Verde).

The sessions were led by the Senegalese theologian Sr Anne Béatrice Faye, director of the School of Synodality in Dakar, who introduced the participants to the method of synodal listening and discernment.
