Colloquium
Synodality in the Church. What now? Promise of missionary renewal or lasting ecclesial tension?
The Higher Institute of Religious Sciences is organizing this Colloquium in Toulouse on 9–10 April from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The aim will be to highlight the theology underlying the experience of this synod, as well as the paradoxical nature of its reception, and more fundamentally, to examine the conditions for transmitting the method implemented during this synodal work at the local level.
What paths does the synod open up for the People of God, what progress does it allow for in building a more synodal Church? What obstacles remain, what challenges need to be overcome?
To answer these questions, a large number of speakers will be present, including Sr. Nathalie Becquart, Undersecretary of the General Secretariat of the Synod.
