This Lent, Ignatian Encounter Ministry invites you for a Synodal Scripture-based Conversation in the Spirit to journey more deeply with the Word of God through “Breaking Open the Word: Lent 2026” — a global experience of prayer, reflection, and spiritual conversation.
Each week of Lent, gather online with participants from around the world in small Zoom breakout groups for a Scripture-based Conversation in the Spirit centered on the Sunday Gospel. Together, they will listen, share, and discern how the Spirit is moving in their lives and in our world.
People can hoose from 27 different one-hour sessions each week, available every day and in four languages — English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
One can commit to one session time for the six weeks of Lent, beginning Ash Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Participation is free
