Immediately after listening to the People of God, the Pastoral Unit of Santa María del Otero (Diocese of Palencia, Spain) decided to create MEETING SPACES, opening up and welcoming the reality of their different neighbourhoods, seeking new horizons in pastoral work and creating networks with other associations, groups, etc. present in their territory.
These ‘Meeting Spaces’ have become common places for questioning, listening to the needs present in their territory and responding to them.
Today, these ‘Meeting Spaces’ are still active, animated by volunteers from the pastoral unit, and other parishes have joined this initiative.
