The current Bishop of the diocese of Teruel and Albarracin in Spain, Mons. José Antonio Satué Huerto (elected Bishop of Malaga) wrote a Pastoral Letter to his faithful so that they can take “advantage of the break in many activities that the summer brings … to take time to read and pray the Synod’s Final Document, as suggested in the text Pathways for the implementation phase”.

He wrote: “This increase in the number of parishes gives us valuable opportunities to cultivate synodality, promoting formal and spontaneous meetings, where we can pray together and discuss topics such as the organisation of patronal feasts, pastoral and economic challenges, or caring for those who suffer in solidarity. Even in larger parishes, the summer allows us to create quiet spaces for sharing experiences and dreaming together, without the pressure of the usual agenda”.
