WUCWO school for synodality, through its World Women’s Observatory, is organising a Conservation in the Spirit Facilitator’s training course on April 28 and 29. The training is aimed to provide tools to guide conversation in the Spirit in different contexts.
The facilitator is like the ‘guide’ of a conversation. They are not the one with all the answers, but the one who helps everyone feel comfortable to participate. Their mission is to truly listen, without interrupting or judging, and to facilitate dialogue so that everyone can speak and be heard. You can also use these skills in your daily life, for example in your family or group of friends. When there are arguments, be the one who listens first and speaks later; create spaces so that everyone at home can express themselves without fear of being criticised; look for solutions as a team, don’t impose your opinion, etc.
Become a facilitator of positive change! The ability to listen, connect and guide conversations will not only help you in your personal life, but will also allow you to have a positive impact on others.
