Also for this new academic year (2026/2027), the Evangelii Gaudium Centre of the Sophia University Institute is offering a Training Course aimed to better understand and develop synodality in the life of the Church.

This new edition of the course entitled Towards a new humanism: a synodal way of life will offer insights on several aspects of the implementation phase of the synod on synodality: from Spiritual discernment and ecclesial memory; narrative as theological reflection; community evaluation; Magnifica Humanitas as a paradigm of a new humanism; relational anthropology as the theological foundation of synodality; communion and baptismal dignity; synodal spirituality; hospitality and inclusion and so on…

The Training Course which is organised by the Centre in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Synod, is also open to anyone (priests, religious and consecrated persons, pastoral workers and lay people) interested in becoming experts in facilitation in their own environments.

The Training Course will also include some workshops to offer tools and good practice.

The official opening is scheduled for October, 26.
