On 14 May, the Fourth Marian Congress of the Diocese of St. Petersburg (USA) was held in the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle, on the theme “Listening like Mary”, with a Mass to renew the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, led by the diocesan bishop Gregory Parkes.
The Marian Congress aimed to bring the Christians of the diocese closer to the Virgin Mary, a model of discipleship in following Jesus. Mary is also a perfect model of listening.
