In Ignatian spirituality, we often hear about personal discernment. This helps us to become aware of our own experience and to make choices. But what about groups? How do we have a conversation that leads to good group decision-making? How do we identify which of the interactions move it toward a genuine consensus, toward more life and generosity, and which ones close the group up on itself, making it hard to resist manipulation in decision-making?

Communal discernment, pioneered by the Jesuits of Canada, enables groups to discover and collaborate with their own spiritual experiences. Laurence Loubières, XMCJ, is the director of the Service for Discernment in Common. She also worked for over 15 years in sustainable and responsible investment.

A recording of the webinar will be shared with registered participants 72 hours after the event.
