The Conference of Dutch Religious organized a webinar on January 10th.  Keynote speaker was professor Myriam Wijlens, member of the Orientation Advisory Committee. She spoke about the process of the Synode,  and the theological and historical context. She also mentioned the specific role of the religious in this synodical process.

Do you in your own communities really listen to every member of the congregation? Is every voice really heard? If you are a priest or working in a parish or if your congregation owns schools or other institutes how do you really listen to all the faithful or pupils or others involved? How can you as religious make sure that the voices of people living in the margins of society are heard?
